Tammy Wakefield brings more than thirty years of experience in the medical field to PrimeHealth Asheville, with most of her career spent in primary care.
Tammy relocated to Asheville from Fredericksburg, Virginia in the fall of 2024 with her partner, drawn by Western North Carolina's mountains and the chance to be closer to the things she loves.
She's the proud mother of two amazing daughters and grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren — the greatest accomplishments of her life. Outside of work she loves exploring the outdoors, attending live concerts, and spending time with her grandchildren.
